Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been rated for the PS5 and Xbox Series in Germany hinting at a possible native version of the game.
While Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was recently updated to run at 60 FPS on the current-generation consoles, this was not a proper update but rather one that runs on the backward compatibility mode. As a result, PS5 was stuck at a lower resolution of 1200p while Xbox Series users could enjoy a slightly higher resolution.
Xbox Series S
- Framerate has been increased to 60 FPS (up from 45 FPS)
Xbox Series X Performance mode
- Framerate has been increased to 60 FPS
- Dynamic resolution added in the range of 1080p to 1440p
Xbox Series X Normal mode (non-performance mode)
- Postprocessing has been increased to 4K
- Dynamic resolution in the range of 1512p to 2160p
PlayStation 5
- Framerate has been increased to 60 FPS (up from 45 FPS)
- Postprocessing increased to 1440p
- Dynamic resolution has been disabled and the game is rendering at 1200p (up from 810-1080p)
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for PS5 and Xbox Series has now been rated in Germany suggesting that they might release a native version of this game for the current-generation consoles. The rating is for the PS5 and Xbox Series versions in addition to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions.
