Resident Evil 4 Remake is also coming to Xbox One if this listing on Amazon is the real deal. The game was already confirmed for the PS4.
Resident Evil 4 Remake was originally announced as a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release with a PC version. There was no last-generation console version included in the initial announcement until Tokyo Game Show this year. It was announced at TGS 2022 that Resident Evil 4 Remake is also coming to the PS4, however, it would skip the Xbox One.
Amazon UK has a listing along with box art for the Xbox One version of the game, which basically unofficially confirms the existence of the Xbox One version.
The wording is clear that there is an Xbox One version in addition to the PlayStation, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X. The box art also has Xbox One listed on it suggesting that this might be the real deal.
Dusk Golem, who has previously leaked accurate information on various pre-release games and announcements has mentioned that Capcom always planned for the game to be a cross-generation release. It also makes no sense for Capcom to drop down Xbox One and release it just on the PS4.
This is not the first time fans had to wait for an announcement for a game that had multiple versions in development. Persona 3, 4, and 5 were announced for the Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC earlier this year but there was no confirmation of a PS4 or Nintendo Switch port. They were later revealed to be coming to these consoles as well.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is officially confirmed for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. It is a full remake of the original game that is developed from the ground up like the remake of Resident Evil 2 and 3.
