Multiple sources have suggested that Arkane’s RedFall is set to arrive this May for the Xbox Series, and PC. It will debut on Xbox Game Pass.
RedFall was announced for 2022 but the game was delayed to 2023. It is now scheduled to launch in early 2023 and might get a release date in the upcoming Developer_Direct on January 25. This showcase will reveal new information on multiple upcoming games from Xbox Game Studios including RedFall and Forza Motorsport as well as the Forza Horizon series.
There are two sources for this new rumor. One of these comes from Brad Sams, who was rather ambiguous in his tease. He appears to have mentioned that RedFall might launch on May 2023.
The other source is a credible insider on Twitter who has suggested the same that RedFall might launch on May 2.
RedFall is the next major project from Dishonored and Deathloop developer Arkane. It is an open-world co-op FPS with a take on the player versus vampires.
“Redfall is an open-world co-op FPS from Arkane Austin, the award-winning team behind Prey and Dishonored. The town of Redfall is under siege by a legion of vampires who have cut the island off from the outside world. Trapped with a handful of survivors, squad up to create the perfect team of vampire slayers in open-world action.”
The game appears to be promising a campaign as well so it is not just a multiplayer shooter. Players will be able to figure out the appearance of these vampires in this new world with some exciting action and a compelling narrative behind the creators of the Dishonored franchise.
According to the official website, the vampires in RedFall were the result of a science experiment gone wrong, but these won’t be the only threat that players will face in the open world of this brand new game.
