Sony will announce its PS Plus Essential September 2022 lineup today. We might leak one of the games that will be available on it.
Dealab user Billbil has teased one of the games that will be available on the PS Plus Essential subscription service in September. In a comment posted on the website, the user shares a picture of two cats in a reply to someone who asked about the upcoming free games.
While normally we don’t take these kinds of teases seriously, this user has a pretty good track record when it comes to leaks so if we take this image as an ambiguous teaser then it means that we are getting a game with two cats in it. Stray is already available on PS Plus Extra so that leaves another game, Cat Quest 2.
Cat Quest 2 may be one of the games that will be offered as part of PS Plus Essential next month. Sony had a pretty good month in August with Yakuza and Tony Hawk being offered for all PS Plus subscribers, so there might be a break where a short indie game can be released, and Cat Quest 2 seems like it is the perfect fit for it.
However, since we don’t have any official announcement for PS Plus Essential September 2022 games lineup, this teaser is the only thing right now. The announcement is expected to happen within the next 24 hours so keep your eyes peeled for it.
