PlateUp! Restaurant Roguelite Game Set to Launch on Consoles in October

Yogscast Games and developer It’s happening announced that the popular restaurant roguelite game, PlateUp!, will be released on the Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One consoles in October. The game has sold over 1 million copies on PC.

Physical standard and collector’s editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch are being developed in partnership with Numskull Games. The game will also be available on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, allowing Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows Store users to enjoy the game at launch.

PlateUp! is a 1-4 player cooking roguelite management game, challenging players to cook and serve dishes, design and decorate their restaurants, and expand their culinary empire. The game features 15 chaotic days of managing a restaurant, cooking dishes, serving customers, and earning money to unlock new equipment and grow the business.

Players can cook, serve, and upgrade their restaurants with new unlocks, abilities, and dishes in procedurally-generated locations with permanent progression. The game offers a high-tech automated kitchen, co-op cooking action, and front-of-house management.

Simon Byron, Director of Publishing at Yogscast Games, said, “PlateUp! has been hugely successful with players on PC, so we’re delighted to be dishing it up to console platforms later in the year.” He added, “The game’s blend of roguelite restaurant management and chaotic cooking have proven to be great ingredients for a compelling new take on the cooking genre, and we’re thrilled for console players to join in on the culinary action soon.”
