Open Beta for THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII GLOBAL MATCH Set to Launch on PlayStation

SNK Corporation has announced an open beta test for their upcoming title, THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII GLOBAL MATCH (KOF XIII GM). The test is set to run on PlayStation 4 and 5 from Monday, June 5th (7 PM PDT) through Sunday, June 11th (7 PM PDT).

The King of Fighters XIII, a celebrated installment in the KOF series, continues to captivate fans worldwide with its distinctive graphics, engaging mechanics, and compelling storylines. The forthcoming KOF XIII GM aims to elevate this classic title by enhancing online play through the addition of rollback netcode, lobbies, and spectator features.

The open beta test is designed to refine the quality of the game’s online features and will be accessible to all players, even those without a PlayStation Plus subscription.

The beta test will offer several playable modes, including Practice Mode (available while waiting for opponents), Online Mode with lobbies and spectating, Options Mode for adjusting game settings, and Customize Mode.

To participate in the open beta test, players can download THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII GLOBAL MATCH OPEN BETA TEST from the PlayStation Store. It’s important to note that the game may not always function as intended during this test, and an internet connection is required for both offline and online play.

The Story Mode will not be available during this test, and the open beta test version of the game will only be playable during the designated period. Additionally, save data from this test cannot be transferred to the retail version, and the content is subject to change without notice.
