Netflix Game Studio, Night School, announced during the Nintendo Indie World Showcase that OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, the highly-anticipated sequel to the critically-acclaimed supernatural thriller OXENFREE, will be released on July 12. The game will be available on the Nintendo Switch™ system, PlayStation®5 & 4, PC and Mac via STEAM®, and on Netflix.

OXENFREE II: Lost Signals is set five years after the events of the original game, lauded for its engaging storytelling, relatable characters, and captivating art style. The sequel introduces an all-new cast of characters and an original story that promises a gripping narrative-driven adventure.

Sean Krankel, co-founder and studio director at Night School, said, “With OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, we wanted to tap into the essence and world that made the original game so special, while immersing players in a brand new story with even higher stakes.” He added, “This game has been a labor of love, and we can’t wait for players to embody Riley, shaping her through life-altering choices and overcoming supernatural challenges that threaten to destroy her future.”

OXENFREE II: Lost Signals follows environmental researcher Riley Poverly as she investigates mysterious radio frequency signals causing disturbances in her hometown of Camena. As Riley uncovers the island’s ghostly history, she becomes entangled in a frightening supernatural mystery. The game features Night School’s signature, naturalistic dialogue system, allowing players to shape their experience in unexpected ways.

OXENFREE II: Lost Signals will be priced at £17.99 on the Nintendo Switch™ system and PC and Mac via STEAM®, and £18.99 on PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4. The game will also be available on Netflix for mobile, with no ads, additional fees, or in-app purchases. Pre-orders are now open on the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation™Store.
