New Dead Space Remake Comparison Screenshots Reveal The Massive Upgrade In Visuals

Dead Space Remake is being developed on Frostbite Engine and it appears to be an overhaul of the original game. Here are some new comparison screenshots.

The new Dead Space Remake will be out in 2023. It is being released on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The game appears to be quite far in development with a release date set for January. It is also getting a gameplay trailer today.

Earlier, the official Microsoft Store was updated with screenshots from the game. These screenshots have given us a new view of the remake so here are some comparison shots to highlight the massive difference in visuals.

Electronic Arts owns the Dead Space IP, which was created by Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey. Each Dead Space video game is a continuation or addition to an ongoing storyline, with segments of the story provided in prequels or sequels, and occasionally in other media from the originating video game series. Dead Space has also been included in cinema, comic books, and other forms of media, including two films and some comic books.

This new Dead Space Remake will be built from the ground up by EA Motive. The core narrative of the game remains the same as in the original – a crewman on a mining ship that has gone quiet. As he tries to defend his remaining crewmates from an onslaught of mutated human corpses, he is left to fend for himself.

Glen Schofield, who worked on the original Dead Space, is also releasing a spiritual successor to the game with The Callisto Protocol set to launch in late 2022.
