Microsoft Is Looking For a Producer To Work On a New AAA Game Set In The Halo Universe

Microsoft is looking for a producer to work on a brand new project in the Halo Universe according to a job listing on the 343 Industries website.

343 Industries is currently working on Halo Infinite, but this is not the only project that they have in development as of right now. According to a new job listing that appears to seek a producer, they have a new project in the pipeline that is set in the Halo universe.

The job listing mentions the following information regarding this new project making it clear that this will be related to the Halo series.

343 Industries is looking for a Producer to help develop a new project in the Halo universe.  This is your chance to work on one of the most exciting and creative intellectual properties in the industry with one of the industry’s most talented teams.

While the listing of this project makes it sound open to interpretation, the goals that are defined later in the job listing make it sound like this is for a game rather than a multimedia project.

Microsoft is also accounting for the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on development by seeking a producer who can lead a team in a virtual environment.

  • Coordinate and lead efforts across a large “virtual” cross-functional team including groups as diverse as: Test, Marketing, User Research, Localization, Business Development, Licensing, Legal, and more.

The project also seeks experience in shipping AAA games and experience in developing and managing projects on a large scale dealing with the team and other creative processes.

Halo Infinite was originally set to launch in 2020 but it was delayed to 2021 in order to further polish the game. It is not a surprise that the developers are seeking a producer for a new project considering Infinite is close to finishing its development.
