A major unannounced game from Capcom is allegedly set to be revealed next month in December, 2023, and is scheduled for release in 2024.
Dusk Golem (aka AestheticGamer), who is known for his sources within the game industry, took to Discord to reveal that Capcom is set to reveal a major unannounced title next month in December, 2023, and that it is set for release in 2024. While he didn’t drop any hints regarding the game in question, he did mention that it isn’t an entry in the Resident Evil series.
With The Game Awards 2023 also happening next month on December 7, 2023, it seems likely that Capcom will reveal the unannounced game at the show. Only time will tell whether that will be the case, however.
Golem also addressed an ongoing rumor regarding a possible Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake being in the works at Capcom. He clarified that it is completely fake and that someone had made it all up. He assured fans that there won’t be any Resident Evil remakes releasing in the year 2024.
This isn’t the first time Golem has mentioned an unannounced Capcom game that is set for a reveal in December, 2023. Back in July, 2023, he had mentioned that Capcom would announce a brand new game towards the end of the year, and that it would eventually see the light of day in Fall 2024.
As for speculation regarding what this title could be, there have been rumblings about a new Monster Hunter game, allegedly titled Monster Hunter Paradise, that will feature a battle pass in place of expansions. Based on rumors, the game will have over 100 monsters at launch, most o which are already available in Monster Hunter Rise, World and Generations. The game’s story will allegedly be about a human main villain trying to awake Lethalis, a black/gold wyvern with massive four leg/wings, which is the natural rival/wyvern version of Fatalis.
