“Destiny 2: Lightfall” is soon to introduce a new subclass, Strand, into the game. The latest trailer, released by Bungie, highlights the capabilities of the Guardians as they use their Strand abilities in the neon city of Neomuna.
The Strand subclass will bring new supers for each class, including Warlock Broodweaver: Needlestorm, Titan Berserker: Blade Fury, and Hunter Threadrunner: Silkstrike. Each class will also have access to a new Grapple ability, giving players the power to swing around Neomuna and take on the Shadow Legion.
The Warlock Broodweaver: Needlestorm allows players to float into the air and conjure a wave of piercing Strand missiles. The missiles will then detonate and reweave into Threadlings that chase after nearby targets.
Titan Berserker: Blade Fury allows Titans to wield large blades onto their arms and use light and heavy attacks to roam the battlefield. Light attacks allow for quick slashes, while heavy attacks swing the blades to launch projectiles that suspend and incapacitate enemies on impact.
Hunter Threadrunner: Silkstrike gives hunters the power to strike down enemies with a rope dart. The light attack throws the dart forward to strike a single enemy, while the heavy attack swings the rope dart around a large area to damage all nearby enemies. Defeating enemies with the tip of the dart deals bonus damage and causes them to explode.
Destiny 2: Lightfall is set to launch on February 28, and players can find more information on the new Strand subclass by checking out the inside look provided by the game developers.
