Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Has Shipped 3.7M Copies

Koei Tecmo has shared their financial results for the year ending March 31st with an updated sales figures of Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity and more. They have managed to achieve strong results.

During this fiscal year, they had released games like Atelier Ryza 2, Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, and NiOh Collection for the PS5. They also released NiOh 2 for PC.

The latest sales update for Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity puts it at over 3.7 million copies sold. This figure has increased from the last updated sales which were 3.5 million by the end of December. This means an additional 200K copies were sold between January to March.

In addition to Age of Calamity, Atelier Ryza 2 is proving to be a hit for Koei Tecmo and has shipped 360K copies worldwide. The game was released early this year and comes hot off the success of the original Ryza which shipped more than half million copies worldwide.

Age of Calamity is confirmed to get new story content with an expansion pass. It is one of the fastest-selling Musou games developed by Koei Tecmo and was released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. This was a spin-off based on the Breath of the Wild that also acted as a prequel to the game.
