Horizon Forbidden West In-Game Locations Look Amazing Compared To Real-World

Horizon Forbidden West was just shown with a live presentation that looked at 14 minutes of gameplay. It has led to some new in-game comparisons.

Horizon Forbidden West is set in a post-apocalyptic world where machines have taken over humanity and nature has taken hold of the majority of the world. In the new gameplay footage, we can see Aloy fighting new machines and a rebel tribe in the remains of San Franciso. There are plenty of other diverse biomes as well but they are only briefly teased by Guerrilla Games on their official social media account.

From what we have seen so far, fans have managed to discover some of the famous landmarks seen in Horizon Forbidden West, and it is simply amazing to see them being compared to their real-world counterparts.

The image above shows Lombard Street in San Franciso and how it looks like in Horizon Forbidden West. One of the developers did confirm that this comparison was accurate.

Here is another comparison showing the locations like City Hall, Transamerica Pyramid, Golden Gate Bridge, Place of Fine Arts, and Ferry Building.

The game is currently set to launch on the PS4 and PS5. There is no release date yet but Guerrilla Games did say that an announcement for it is due soon.
