A job listing for the position of Creative Director at WB Games Montreal, suggests that the Gotham Knights developer has begun working on a new AAA action-adventure game based on a popular franchise. The listing states that the new recruit will play an essential role in establishing and executing the vision of a popular franchise in the interactive AAA space.

Additionally, it is stated that the new recruit for the position of Creative Director at WB Games Montreal will lead the project’s core team and inspire teammates and stakeholders while providing guidance during the prototyping and production phase. The mention of the prototyping phase implies that the game is very early in development. They are also expected to be and expert in next-generation AAA action/adventure games.

WB Games Montreal’s previous title, Gotham Knights, was released on October 21, 2022, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game follows Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood as they try to restore order to Gotham City after Batman’s death. Inspired by the Batman: Gotham Knights comic series, the game sees the heroes facing the Court of Owls and their brainwashed assassins, the Talons, while investigating Batman’s disappearance.

Each character in the game has a unique playstyle and skills. For instance, Robin can teleport using the Justice League satellite. Players can enjoy a two-player cooperative multiplayer mode where the second player can join or leave without interrupting the game, alongside a solo mode. Characters can be leveled up, and enemies will also scale accordingly. Additionally, players can traverse the city using vehicles like the Batcycle.
