The latest update from the game suggests that it will require a lot of hard disk space on the PS4. The file size of God of War Ragnarok has been revealed to be 118.5 GB including any of the updates that the developers have released so far.
For comparison, the original God of War on PS4 without any updates is around 36 GB while God of War 3, which is a port of the PS3 game, is also roughly the same size.
God of War Ragnarok is the eighth chronological entry in the God of War series. The game will be set in ancient Scandinavia and will be somewhat based on Norse mythology. The game will explore Ragnarök, a chain of events that lead to the end of the world.
Kratos and his son Atreus begin their journey across the nine worlds in search of a way to halt Ragnarök. The story will pick up three years after the events of the last game, Fimbulwinter. Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, will be their opponent, seeking vengeance for the deaths of his half-brother Baldur and two sons Modi and Magni.
