Unannounced PC versions of several high-profile games have been leaked through a new platform related to the Epic Games Store similar to SteamDB, known as EpicDB. Among the notable discoveries are potential PC releases of Naughty Dog’s “The Last of Us Part 2,” Square Enix’s “Final Fantasy IX” remake, and Rockstar Games’ “Red Dead Redemption.”
The information surfaced as users navigated through EpicDB, searching for various publishers and examining their pages on Epic Games Store. These investigations led to the discovery of multiple codenames for unannounced PC games. By delving into the Cloud Saves sections associated with these codenames, users found clear indications of forthcoming PC versions of several highly anticipated titles.
One of the prominent findings pertains to a codename “Utah,” listed under Sony Interactive Entertainment’s titles. Further inspection of its Cloud Saves profile uncovered references to a PC version of “The Last of Us Part 2.” Similarly, a Square Enix title codenamed “Skobeloff” revealed a mention of a PC version of “Final Fantasy XVI.” Additionally, the codename “momo” within Square Enix’s entries is believed to be an unannounced “Final Fantasy IX” remake, supported by references to a Tetra Master Starter Pack DLC. Rockstar Games’ list included a codename “Semla,” which appears to correspond to a PC version of “Red Dead Redemption.” Other notable codenames include Paradox Interactive’s “Project Batman” and Bandai Namco Entertainment’s “Atlas.”
While the leak included some fabricated entries, such as listings for “GTA 6,” “Elden Ring 2,” and a “Bloodborne” remake, there were plenty of listings that were straight from the official developer/publisher account.
