The release date for the expansion to Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, titled Shadow of The Erdtree, has reportedly been revealed.
Well-known insider billbil-kun, who is known for leaking PS Plus Essential titles prior to their official announcement, has revealed the release date for Elden Ring: Shadow of The Erdtree. As per their information, the expansion is set to see the light of day on June 21, 2024. Though they added that they are not 100% certain, as this date corresponds to the release date of several special editions of the game on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
Elden Ring New Editions Confirmed
In addition to the release of Elden Ring: Shadow of The Erdtree, Bandai Namco Entertainment is also looking to release brand new editions of the game. Those who are looking to set foot into the lands between for the very first time will be glad to know that they’ll be able to purchase both the base game and expansion in one package. Both new editions along with their corresponding prices are listed below.
- Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree (DLC included) – Game of the Year edition: 79.99 euros (physical copy available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S )
- Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree (DLC included) – Collector’s Edition: 259.99 euros (physical copy available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S )
It’s currently not known what the content of the new Collector’s Edition of Elden Ring will include.
The gameplay trailer for the new Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion will be released today on February 21, 2024, at at 07:00 PST / 15:00 UTC / 16:00 CET / 00:00 JST (FEB 22) . Fans can tune in to the Bandai Namco’s official YouTube channel to check out the new gameplay footage along with information regarding the aforementioned new editions. The trailer is said to have a duration of 3 minutes.
