To celebrate the launch of the open beta, the team behind DECEIVE INC. has released a new developer diary, offering a closer look at the setting, agents, and tactics players can employ in their mission to secure the objective against rival spies. The video also showcases the diverse gadgetry and unique locations available in the game.

DECEIVE INC. is set in a world where governments are prohibited from having their own intelligence services, leading to the rise of privatized spy companies like the titular DECEIVE INC. The game’s playable characters all have distinct backstories and skill sets to match a variety of different playstyles. The game also features a host of high-tech gadgets, including an inflatable bouncing pad for a quick escape and a spyglass to obtain intel from afar.

The open beta includes access to all eight launch-day agents and two maps: “Hard Sell” and “Fragrant Shore.” The developers’ design philosophy for the game was to blend classic spy fantasies with bright colors and bold lines to make each level, character, and object pop.

Players eager to learn more about DECEIVE INC. can join the official Discord community or visit the game’s website. Aspiring agents can also pre-order the game’s standard edition for an MSRP of £15.99 / €19.99 EUR / $19.99 USD or the Black Tie Edition for an MSRP of £24.99 GBP / €29.99 EUR / $29.99 USD.
