Cyberpunk 2077 fans are waiting for the January patch for the game, which will be the next update that will overhaul major portions of the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 was released in December and shortly after its release, the players realized that the game was not up to the mark. There were a lot of bugs, inconsistencies, and shortcuts like modeling children as tiny adults in the final product. But now the developers are working to improve the game with two patches. The first patch is going to be released in January 2021.

When Will Cyberpunk 2077 January Patch Release?
CD Projekt Red talked about two big patches in their long-post release apology letter on Twitter in December and Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.07 will be the 1st big Patch. The patch will release on January 15 or January 22, 2021. Because previous Cyberpunk patches have released on Fridays, so January 15 or 22 will be the perfect day for a Patch.
CD Projekt Red gave some hints about the release dates of the patches in their Twitter missive. The first Patch will be released in January and the 2nd one will be released in February. CD Projekt Red told that the staff will break for holidays, which means that the staff will return to their offices on January 4 after both Christmas and new year’s holidays.
So January 8 is out of the question because of the certification process needed for a patch, and January 29 also didn’t make any sense because the 2nd patch will be released in February so the appropriate date for the release of patch 1.07 is January 15 or 22.
What Are Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.07 Patch Notes?
CD Projekt Red hasn’t shared what Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.07 will fix. Several things were fixed in the simple patch 1.05 hotfix, so patch 1.07 will likely fix more things than that, and there will be further stability to the console version of the game.
“They won’t make the game on last-gen look like it’s running on a high-spec PC or next-gen console, but it will be closer to that experience than it is now,” says CD Projekt Red in regards to the patch.
An alleged leak details some of the fixes that CD Projekt Red is planning for the game, including adding some of the cut content back into it.
Is Update 1.07 Out On Any Platforms?
Patch 1.07 is not available yet on any platform but soon it will be released on every available platform including PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
What Bugs Still Need To Be Fixed?
Many things need to be fixed. Cyberpunk 2077 is crashing on different consoles regularly and running the game has become difficult for the players. Patch 1.07 is a huge patch and many functional bugs will be fixed in this patch. While the remaining alterations will come with the second update in February.
What About Cyberpunk 2077 1.08 Patch?
Following the January Update, patch 1.08 will be released in February. There will be foundational fixes in patch 1.07 equivalent to stabilizing a ceasing patient, CD Projekt will need more time to make the required changes. As their reputation on the line, so they will work a little bit longer on 1.08 than the first patch.
Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.08 will release on February 19 or 26, 2021.
