Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War season 5 details have started to leak online with images featuring the artwork and more being shared.
This leak was first shared by Leakypastimes on Twitter. It was later posted to the GamingLeaks subreddit where more details were shared for the upcoming Cold War season 5. The launch date for this season is supposedly set for August 12 so it is not going to take a while before we can get an official announcement.

So, what exactly does this new season include? This season will be Japanese-themed, and it will include a new operator named Kitsune. It is also said to have a Weather Station area for new multiplayer battles. The Tec-9 is one of the weapons that has been rumoured. Other possible features include PHD Flopper and Double Tap for Zombies, as well as the lightning links field upgrade.
Black Ops Cold War Season 5 Release Date
The release date is set for August 12. This will likely coincide with a major update on the same day that should be available on all platforms. If we go by the previous seasonal launches, then the update can be available as soon as the start of next week with an announcement due later this week.
What we are not sure if the recent Activision news where they are going through a lawsuit will have any effect on the launch for this new season. Perhaps, it will arrive on time but it can also get delayed.
