EA Dice is planning to release multiple updates for the game including the day one patch for Battlefield 2042 that will improve the game post-launch.
There is already a day-zero patch available for Battlefield 2042, but the actual day one patch won’t arrive until the launch day on November 19. This is according to leaker Tom Henderson.
Here’s what he had to say regarding the update timeline for Battlefield 2042.
Day 1 Patch – Nov 19th (Launch patch)
Day 10 Patch – Nov 30th (Quality of life update)
Day 25 Patch – Dec 7th (Content patch)
There’s people saying the Day 1 Patch is going to fix a lot of issues, but that’s likely to come in the Day 10 Patch.
Currently, there is a Battlefield 2042 update 1.02 available that appears to implement the following fixes.
- Quality, stability and performance improvements.
But apparently the real day one patch will arrive on the launch day, so if you have early access and are facing issues with the game, you need to wait for its launch first.
