Bandai Namco Online Inc. and Bandai Namco Europe have announced the upcoming release of the “Season 3 IGNITION” update for their free-to-play team-based first-person shooter game, GUNDAM EVOLUTION. The update is set to launch on March 8th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via STEAM.
As part of the new update, the fan-favorite Gundam Heavyarms Custom (EW) from Gundam Wing will be added to the game’s playable mobile suits. The game offers three objective-based game modes: Point Capture, Domination, and Destruction, and requires teams to craft and execute effective offensive and defensive strategies to win.
Bandai Namco Online Inc. and Bandai Namco Europe have also announced that more information on the “Season 3 IGNITION” update will be revealed in GUNDAM EVOLUTION’s upcoming Mission Briefing reveal on March 4th at 06:00 GMT.
Gundam Evolution is a team-based shooter game where players form two opposing squads, each with six players, and engage in combat while attempting to achieve opposing objectives on the map. The objectives vary depending on the game mode. Players can choose from three objective-based game modes: Point Capture, where players must attack and capture points on the map from the defending team; Domination, where both teams must capture three points on the map; and Destruction, where teams must activate or stop a weapon of mass destruction that the other team is trying to use against them.
