THQ Nordic is hosting a showcase for their games lineup on August 12 and ahead of it, one of the announcements regarding Alone In The Dark has reportedly leaked.
Alone In The Dark is one of the several IPs that is owned by THQ Nordic. While they haven’t teased anything related to it, Twitter Inside Snitch, who has been 100% spot-on regarding pretty much everything that they have leaked, has mentioned Alone In The Dark in a cryptic tweet.
“Being afraid of the dark is what keeps most of us alive, ” reads the tweet. This line is from the Alone In The Dark movie which was a critical and commercial failure. Since The Snitch has a habit of leaking games before they are announced, it is being termed as the leak for a new Alone In The Dark game.

The Alone in the Dark survival horror video game series was developed by Infogrames. The protagonist of the bulk of the games is private eye Edward Carnby, who embarks on an investigation into a haunted house or town. While the subsequent games draw inspiration from voodoo and the Wild West, the original story was based on books by H. P. Lovecraft. Two comic novels and two movies were based on the games.
The series was originally under Atari but it was later purchased by THQ Nordic.
