The Halcyon System in The Outer Worlds is massive. After the release of the major story expansion Peril on Gorgon, it is now possible to access new areas in the game. Players are sent to a science outpost on the system’s fringe, the titular Gorgon asteroid. It leads to more of the shooting and looting that is expected from the game. The expansion offers the same quality content as the main game.

How To Access Peril on Gorgon DLC
- Beat the quest “Radio Free Monarch.” If you are not sure, check to see if Nyoka is in your party.
- Travel anywhere in Halcyon to get hailed by an interplanetary delivery company. One of their messengers has a box for you. Accept it.
- Once you get that box, open it in your cargo hold and you will find a dismembered arm. It will lead to a conversation with your crew and you can travel to Gorgon to access the new DLC area.
