How To Defeat Skulltula In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD
How does the Skulltula appear to be?
Skulltula is an obtruded spider who appears to be a powerful creature in the game. It has a skull-like tough abdomen. It won’t be easy to kill it with just a hit. This is because of its solid structure.
Where to meet them?
As soon as the player reaches the first dungeon of Skyview Temple in the game The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the player would encounter Skulltula. These spiders try hard not to let Link pass down the way hence they strive to block the area. Link has to manage an escape for himself to proceed with the game.
Nature of the Skulltulas:
These creatures tend to be very smart since they are good at hiding. So before you enter their region make sure the ceiling is clear and you are not surrounded by any of their webs. They are ready enemies to ambush the victims in their web. So better to take it off if caught before it brings you down.
How to knock one out?
Every enemy has its own weak point where it is exposed. This Skulltula has its weak point in the stomach. When the striking blow hits them under the belly, they can not take a stand for an instant. Hence the player needs to learn different techniques of the sword to use them on the spot to destroy the Skulltula forthwith.
Skulltula can be found hanging on the ceiling so a horizontal strike right on their weak spot would give them a good thrash. Where it can be an easy target while hanging on the ceiling it can also be a hefty threat to the player. If the player gets a hit from the hanging Skulltula, that hit can cause him to lose a heart.
Controller Scheme Difference
The attack can be done by using two controlling Schemes.
Firstly, it can be done by using an analog stick. In this regard, the hit can be performed by pressing down the right analog stick.
Secondly, the hit can be executed by slashing the right Joy-Con forward when using the motion controls.
When using motion controls, the attack can also use the trick of Skyward Strike against a Skulltula’s weak point. To carry out this action the player needs to hold the right Joy-Con vertically to point out the edge of the sword right at the Spider’s head. Snapping the sword forward would result in releasing a projectile after the Skyward Strike has charged.
The player can also meet the Skulltula Spiders crawling on the ground. If these creatures are found in this posture then an upward slash right on its back would cause them to stroke and then the final Fatal blow would wind up the life story of Skulltula.
