In Tales Of Arise, The Mysterious Pair is a Sub Quest given by the Wonder Bard in the region of Mahag Saar-Niez. In this challenge, you will confront three riddles given by the Wonder Bard. Solve them and notify Wonder Bard. Solving these riddles will let you discover a secret instrument that Wonder Bard needs.
The Sub Quest starts right after meeting the Wonder Bard. You can reach this point only if you have completed the quest of “A Healer and Her Patients”.
How To Complete The Mysterious Pair In Tales of Arise
The Riddles:
The Wonder Bard asks you to find his secret hidden instrument. For some clues, he provides us with 3 riddles. There is no limit in reading the riddles. You can read anytime from the menu. These clues look like this:
Wonder Riddle 1:
Just beyond the hovels in a land shrouded by sand and stone.
Wonder Riddle 2:
The northmost reaches of a wasteland to the north of an abandoned village.
Wonder Riddle 3:
It lies dormant at the back of a narrow road to the west, whereupon an ancient tower stands.
How to solve it now?
Instrument Location: Calaglia > Iglia.
As you go to this place, you will find an Examine prompt lying past the flying enemy insect. An Iron pipe will be given to you as an instrument that will take you to the solution of the mystery.
According to the riddles; a shrouded land shows us that it’s about a desert place.
Whereas wasteland to the north completely makes sense that it is on the north side.
Whereupon an ancient tower stands clearly tells us that this riddles is talking about the Fagan Ruins.
