Stardew Valley Volcano Dungeon: How To Unlock and Beat It

GIStaffBy GIStaffFebruary 14, 2021No Comments3 Mins Read

In Stardew valley the Volcano Dungeon is the newest dungeon available in its 1.5 version update. Recently Stardew Valley’s PC version has introduced Version 1.5 updates. Players can now explore a new location called Ginger Island off the coast of Pelican Town in this new update. Players can now explore this area, make new NPC friends, grow new crops, and capture fish. But the new dungeon at the heart of an active volcano is one of the main attractions of this new location. In this guide, we will help you to beat the Volcano Dungeon in Stardew Valley.

You can unlock the dungeon after befriending Leo, One of Ginger Island’s residents. After you will talk to him, a rock will fall from the sky and a pathway will be opened into the volcano. You can find the entrance in the northernmost area of Ginger Island. You should do few things before going into the volcano. First of all, you must bring healing items and a watering can along with you. This will make the experience easier. To complete the dungeon you will have to make it to the tenth floor. Here’s how you can complete the Volcano Dungeon.

How To Beat Stardew Valley Volcano Dungeon

The Volcano Dungeon opens up with a river of lava. To cross it you will have to wet the lava by using the watering can to make the trip across. Now you will have to make it up to the 10th floor of the dungeon. Every floor for this dungeon is randomized except for the fifth and tenth floor so you must bring the best gear and don’t bring anything you are afraid of losing.

For starters, use your sword to attack enemies and don’t collect materials for this trip. If you will die, you will wake up out on the beach of Ginger Island. It’s better to aim for the staircase as fast as possible. After you will complete the dungeon, you will be able to take the elevator between floors, and then you can easily harvest materials without any stress. There is a switch on each floor that opens up the pathway to the next level. Find those switches and avoid the enemies as often as possible. Once you have reached the top of the dungeon you can create more powerful gear and then you can collect all the material you left behind. It is very challenging, but heal and slowly make your way to the top.
