AshBy AshMay 18, 2022No Comments3 Mins Read

Salt and Sacrifice supports both local and online coop multiplayer so here’s a guide detailing how to do it in the game.

Players can enjoy both local co-op game and can also play with friends online in Salt and Sacrifice. In this coop mode players can join forces with friends and with strangers. Since the coop feature is not elaborated to the players so they can seek for guides to understand how it actually works.

How To Play Coop In Salt and Sacrifice

How To Play Local Coop

In order to get into this Local coop mode, players first need to connect a second input device and reach the main menu. Here the Soul’s fans should click the button on the second input device that will bring a menu on the right side of the screen. This is where players will be able to create another character and the Local co-op mode will begin from here.

How to Play Online Coop

In order to play it online with friends, the first priority is to finish the tutorial in order to get the game’s hub area, Pardoner’s Vale. Players will get to meet with an NPC named Runereader Diedela at the base of the hub area and a cooperation board will be there to her right. There at the Cooperation board, players will get to choose between the two options which are whether to host or join a coop session.

How to Play Online Coop (Random)

JOIN:-

Now to join an Online coop with random partners first players need to do is to come across the Pale Candle which is in the Ashbourne Village, and is not an item that requires a level upgrade. After getting through the gate to the right of the original spawn location, players need to go down through the scaffolding to get to the door. Now going down through the exit to reach the Greymoss Mire to the left, players need to use a grappling hook to outreach an NPC. NPC will return the Pardoners’ Vale, which will allow the players to purchase Pale Candles from its inventory.

HOST:-

Now to host an Online coop with random partners, the first objective is to pull out the Spellmark and obtain the Golden Candle. This particular Spellmark can be pulled out with the help of a Guiltless Shard, and to acquire this Guiltless Shard, defeat the enemies summoned by Mages with Marked Inquisitor. This Golden Candle can be found in the first cave to the left of the spawn location and also when getting out of the Root – Ceil Cavern through the middle of the right side, players will see a chest with the item inside.
