Resident Evil Village is out, it’s a survival horror game and the tenth installment of the Resident Evil Series. Just like the previous Resident Evil games, there are several puzzles in Resident Evil Village that players will have to solve, one of these puzzles includes stone statues. Solving this puzzle is a little tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it all comes together. In this guide, we will tell you how to solve the abandoned stone statue puzzle in Resident Evil Village.
How To Solve Resident Evil Village Statue Puzzle
It’s not easy to get out of Lady Dimitrescu’s Castle. You will come across murderous vampires, identical hallways, and decaying floors that also want to kill you and it’s a lot. Fortunately, the puzzles are not the source of additional annoyance for those players who want to continue with the amazing story.
Go to the second floor of the castle, an area you will be annoyingly familiar with during your time in the village to find this puzzle. You will find this puzzle in the Hall of Ablution, and to get to this area you will have to exit the main hall and then cross the courtyard. Move up to the door on the right side of the courtyard, where you will find a set of stairs. Go up the stairs, and then walk down the hallway and enter the third door on your left. The puzzle is not as complicated as it seems and with our help, you can solve this puzzle with no difficulty.
You will see four statues and an ominous puddle of blood in the center when you reach the Ablution area. To solve this puzzle you will have to rotate the statues from left to right in order to pivot them in the direction they need to be facing. So Let’s get started:
Walk around the room until you reach a bronze plaque directly across from where you entered before touching any of the statues. The message says, “Women are blind to male advances, but the poor shall take their chances, to give their lords their bounty sown, so that soon the wine may flow.”
It’s a riddle you need to solve to know the directions the statues need to be facing. Fortunately, when you look at each statue individually, it’s pretty clear:
- Statue # 1: Man Riding A Horse
- Statue # 2: Beggars
- Statue # 3: Wine Glass Woman
- Statue # 4: Wine Bottle Woman
You will see the women with the wine facing each other, with the man riding a horse facing the statue with the woman directly in front of him. Finally, You will have to move the statue of the beggars so that it faces directly toward the statue of the man riding a horse, and boom! The puzzle is solved.
That’s everything you need to know to solve the statue puzzle in Resident Evil Village.
