Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Unreachable Zurpstones and How To Reach Them

GIStaffBy GIStaffJune 19, 2021No Comments2 Mins Read

In Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, “Help Trudi” is a quest, which tasks players to collect 60 Zurpstones on Planet 2: Sargasso. However, there are some seemingly inaccessible Zurpstones that are located on the rooftops of buildings or floating high in the air. In this guide, we will tell you how to get the Zurpstones that are inaccessible in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.

How to Get the Unreachable Zurpstones In Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart

There are different prize tiers in the Zurpstone quest,  and additional abilities unlock as you find more Zurpstones. First, you will have to collect 45 Zurpstones on foot, and then destroy the inaccessible Zurpstones by riding a dragon that fires fireballs at them. All the remaining Zurpstones get marked on the map after you collect 15 and present them to the quest giver.

You can unlock Trudi, a flying dragon mount, after collecting 30 Zurpstones on foot. However, it won’t be able to destroy the Zurpstones in the air yet. Trudi acquires the ability to shoot the fireballs in the air after collecting 45 Zurpstones on foot. While riding the dragon, you can shoot the “unreachable” Zurpstones in the air (hold R2 to shoot fireballs). The ability will unlock instantly after you find the 45th Zurpstone so there’s no need to return to the quest giver.  It can be buggy at times; in this instance, merely enter your starship, travel to another planet, and return; it should then work properly.

To shoot down the remaining Zurpstones, ride the dragon. If you are still missing one and there are none left on the map, look in the area where the side quest began, to the west of the side quest giver (those Zurpstones aren’t marked on the map but their purple glow makes them easy to spot from the air). Return to the quest giver after collecting all 60 Zurpstones to receive a Spybot.

That’s everything you need to know to get the inaccessible Zurpstones in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.
