Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Return Policy Trophy and How To Unlock It

GIStaffBy GIStaffJune 16, 2021No Comments3 Mins Read

The “Return Policy” trophy is the most time-consuming trophy in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. It’s also the game’s only trophy that necessitates a second playthrough. You can get every other trophy during your first playthrough. But to get the “Return Policy” trophy you will have to enter a New Game Plus.

There’s a very compelling reason why you should play the game again. Basically, there are more weapons available to purchase after you start your second playthrough. So it means that you can unlock the trophy for buying all weapons, and you will also get access to more powerful versions of your current weapons. In this guide, we will tell you everything you need to know to unlock the “Return Policy” trophy in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.

How To Unlock Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Return Policy Trophy

You will have to get to Mrs. Zurkon as soon as you begin your second gameplay. But first, You must use the “Void Repulsor” as much as possible. Get it to level 5 and then get to Mrs.Zurkon. You will be able to obtain more powerful versions of your existing weaponry on the second playthrough. These can reach level 10 instead of level 5. You will need to play for roughly an hour before the Void Reactor becomes available.

Killing 10 enemies by returning shots with the Void Reactor earns you the “Return Policy” trophy. You won’t have the Void Reactor before you start the second playthrough. That’s why you must level it up in the 1st playthrough and purchase the upgrade.

The Void Reactor costs 200,000 bolts which you should already have if you have completed the game. To make this trophy as simple as possible, you will have to upgrade your “caught shots” and “returning fire” skills. Because many attackers do not fire at you and so cannot be reflected, so there’s one area that is ideal for this.

The battle arena in Zurkie’s bar is the greatest place to get this reward quickly. Repeat the first bronze objective until you get 3-4 return shot kills per try from the second waves of enemies.

In the second wave, there are pirate enemies who constantly fire projectiles at you. They have the appearance of spiked bombs and are simple to spot. Hold L2 to raise your shield and absorb three to four of them. You will get an easy kill if you hit R2 to return fire at them.

The easier this becomes as you increase the Void Reactor. Absorbing projectiles consumes ammo, hence those stats should be raised as well. It’s best to upgrade this weapon fully to get this trophy easily.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get the “Return Policy” trophy in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart.
