In Rainbow Six Extraction, all operators can go MIA if they are taken down. Find out what to do in this case and how to rescue them.
Rainbow Six Extraction is where you have been thrown to a place that is under aliens invasion. You now have to save the world from its poisonous existence through incursions but for that, you need to be stealthy in each step. Now, if the difficulty settings are kept at higher levels, it increases the risk of losing the escape which ultimately leads to the failure of Operators who are then declared as MIA.
But it’s not the end of the world, you can still rescue your favourite Operators in Rainbow Six Extraction, by going back to the same mission. However, the obstructions will be a little more this time since the Archaeans would do their best to stop you.
How To Save All MIA Operators In Rainbow Six Extraction
During Co-Op:
So whenever you start a mission, the health of the Operators is full unless it’s restoring it from the previous incursion. Well, during the incursion you can not fully restore their health, although you would find Medkits all over the place but it only boosts the Operators and does not increase its health back to full. So when it runs out the first time like to 0 HP, you will go to the Down But Not Out (DBNO) phase, from where your squadmates come and save you. The second time you fall into the DBNO phase, there will be no coming back. You’ll have to escape through the zone and the operators will go MIA.
During Solo Run:
In a solo run, there will be no teammates which means you are all alone to take care of the circumstances. Since there will be no teammate to revive you so once you are down, there will be no DBNO phase and the operators will straight go MIA.
Now that you know how the Operators go MIA, this will help you to keep a track of your Operators Health. Always try to keep them in full health before you start a new incursion. Pick up all the Medkits that you gather during the incursion. Even if you are at full health, ping it for your teammate to have it because taking a destructed teammate to the extraction zone is one hell of a ride so it is always better to be cautious in every possible sense. And even if you have to escape through the extraction zone early, do it because less XP is always a better choice than getting your Operators to go MIA.
Now if the Operators go MIA you need to go back to the same mission area to rescue them because they’ll not appear in the selection list.
Now to rescue the MIA Operators you have to choose the mission and one of the objectives will be swapped with the retrieving lost Operator. In a location covered in Sprawl, the Operator will be held captive in an Archaean Tree with horrific limbs. Look out for buzzing sounds or a place that is filled with sprawl to help find the Operator. As soon as you find the Operator, you have to fight for it to get back from the tree. It won’t be easy because the Tree won’t let you have it in one simple go. It will use all the anchor points to keep it intact so to free the operator you need to destroy all the Anchor points by shooting at them. During this time of struggle, a bar will appear that will show the progress, and afterward, a red circle will start to get empty, and then you’ll be notified about the Operator that now you can pull it off.
This whole struggle requires better teamwork because one has to pull out the operator while others need to fight back with the tentacles and Anchor Points. There will be a yellow diamond that will move from left to right telling about who is winning the war. When it goes to the right side, it means you are all good to pull the Operator.
Now at the same time, there will be Red Symbols. If they hit the Red Circle before you destroy the Anchors and Tentacles the tree will get more powerful giving you a tough time to rescue your Operator. Now once, you have pulled out the Operator, take it to the Extraction zone and bring it out of it. Healing it will require some time so you don’t have to panic and let the process take its time.
This is how you can rescue all the MIA Operators in Rainbow Six Extraction.
