There are quite a large number of Pokémon to capture in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but how many of them are actually in the game.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a new addition to the Pokemon franchise with a completely different game design. It is set in the ancient Sinnoh Region. After getting the game, you set off on an open-wild adventure where you grab a Pokemon from the professor and set off to catch a variety of other Pokemon.
This entry has its own gameplay system which makes it different from all other series of Pokemon franchises. You go on exploring beaches, mountains, and forests. The game is so far loved by so many players and is successfully running on Nintendo Switch.
How Many Pokémon Are In Pokémon Legends: Arceus
With its huge format to enjoy you might be wondering how many Pokemon will be required to complete the final quest of the game. The answer is that there are more than 240 Pokémon that you can find for your Pokedex in the game. This is significantly pared down compared to the other games in the series.
Well, it’s quite disappointing that the number of Pokemon species is precisely low as compared to other series of the game. For Instance:
- Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shinning Pearl offered 493 Pokemon
- Pokemon Sword and Shield introduced a great number of Pokemon and that was 900. Insanely great!
But still, on a positive note, the developers have worked on the other aspects of the game including, the new format where you can set off on an open wild place and then new mechanics of catching the Pokemon. Also, it has updated the evolution thing where trading was compulsory for evolving the Pokemon but now you just need to find the item, and then you are all set to go.
Let’s be hopeful that the developers will be adding more of the Pokemon later in the game.
