Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Metal Coat and Where to Find

In this article, we will explain to you the key feature of Metal Coat, and where you can find it in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

There are so many things in Pokemon Brilliant And Shinning pearl that every time keeps you occupied in the game. One of them is the Metal Coat, which you would eagerly want to have. It acts as a key feature to evolve a Pokemon.

Where To Find Metal Coat In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

One thing to note is that it is not confined to any specific Pokemon, any Pokemon can be evolved once you bring the Metal Coat in use. It tends to make your Steel-type moves more powerful. Especially when you are going against the Elite Four, it can be very helpful to decide the winner. 

Other than that, one more function of it includes the evolution of a Traded Pokemon. Once, you trade a Pokemon and you have the Metal Coat you can certainly evolve it, such as;

  • Metal Coat can evolve Scyther into Scizor.
  • Metal Coat can evolve Onyx into Steelix. 

 Where To Find The Metal Coat:

In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shinning pearl, you can find it in several areas of the game. More specifically, you can get it on and Iron Island with Riley.

You can find Riley’s house that is situated to the exit of the Island where the boat is standing. You can go to that house get the Riolu Egg from Riley and talk to Byron to lend you the Metal Coat. You can also obtain the Metal Coat in the Battle Tower. But getting it from there will cost you a price of Battle Points. 

Where to find the Trade Pokemon:

Scyther: On Route 229 and Grand Underground.

Onyx: You can find it in;

  • Oreburgh Mine
  • Iron Island
  • Snowpoint Temple
  • Victory Road
  • Stark Mountain
  • Grand Underground
