The developers have recently fixed a bug in outriders that allowed players to farm Legendary gear much faster than intended. Players in Outriders could farm up to ten Legendaries in about an hour by using the Monster Hunt quests. While the hack has been fixed and no longer works, but now the players have found another way to get limitless Legendaries in Outriders.
How To Farm Legendaries in Outriders
Those players who don’t have Legendary weapon mods may find this trick useful, as this trick allows them to get a few Legendaries that they may not have, or to get a head start on Legendary mods for their other characters. To make this trick work, players will need at least two people. One player must have completed the Outriders campaign to be the host, and they will load up three missions that will drop guaranteed Legendaries upon completion of their character.
This trick will only award Legendaries on the first completion of each character; those players who have already completed the main Outriders campaign will have earned the guaranteed Legendaries from these battles and will not be able to earn them again. To get these Legendaries players will have to create new characters for each run and then deposit the Legendaries into their stash to remove from their main characters. A player who has already completed the Outriders main campaign will be the lobby’s host. The player who receives the Legendaries must create a new character, skip the prologue, and then join in on their host’s campaign, which has already been completed.
The host will select ‘Track Down the Chrysaloid’ and change the Story Point to Forest Enclave. Start the War by loading the point. The host should be able to quickly defeat the Outriders boss, awarding a Legendary to each party member who has not yet completed the mission. After that, the host must take the party back to the main lobby for the second story point.
Select the ‘Rescue Your Crew’ mission as the Second story point at Utargak. To start the first Yagak battle, Players will have to go towards the pillar. Yagak will easily be defeated by the host, spawning the chest for the players to open. Those characters who haven’t completed this fight yet will get a guaranteed Legendary from this chest. After that return the team to the Outriders lobby so the last Story point can be loaded.
The Caravel is the last story point, the host will have to choose the ‘Defeat Yagak’ mission. Doing the same thing as the previous missions, the host will easily defeat Yagak in both phases. After defeating Yagak, players will be taken to the Outriders end credits screen. The important thing here is that the host should be the first person to skip the end credits. The host will have to close the game if he can’t skip the credits for any reason.
When the host exits the game, the other players in the lobby will attempt to reconnect with the host. If connecting to the host fails, a new lobby will be created by Outriders the remaining players will be loaded into the Outriders Camp, where they can open the final chest and claim the final Legendary. To get the mods, Players will have to transfer Legendaries into their stash, where they will be picked up and dismantled by their main characters.
After that Players can go back to the lobby and make a new character to restart the farm. Since the host doesn’t get any benefits from this trick, so it is better to rotate who is the host so that everyone can get benefits from the trick. Just keep in mind that this farm appears to be restricted to the Legendaries available in the Outriders demo. That’s why this is not a successful Legendary Armor farm. As this Outriders farm cannot be completed alone, so players will have to team up with others to complete it.
