There are some ways you can switch factions in New World. Find out about them and how to do it in this guide.
In New World, you can play in multiplayer mode and can choose PvE in New World Conquest. You can also join a faction by making your character join PvP making a whole association that works heavily for their better faction.
As you begin your adventure in Aeternum, you will encounter an option of either choosing Faction in the New World or not choosing it. Now, it’s on you to see if you prefer changing the conditions around you or not.
How To Switch Factions In New World
There are many reasons for players to switch their Factions. For instance;
- Players might not like the cosmetics or doctrine of this changing condition.
- Changing Faction might be because the players need to join any specific Aeternum’s Companies.
- Players can also switch the Faction, so when their friends join the game they choose another Faction.
You can shift between the three coalitions anytime you want because it comprises such an easy method, however, you have to put in a lot of time. Hence, it’s a time-consuming aspect of the game.
To switch the Faction in New World, we have explained it all for you here:
- Go to the Character Menu and press the K key to open the menu
- To see which Faction you belong to, check for Bio on the Character Window.
- When you see it on the bottom left of the screen, select Change Faction to change it to another Faction.
In New World, you play the major quests to get Azoth. You can harvest it to finish off the main questline. Azoth is beneficial for;
- Improving the crafted items
- To travel quickly
- To Swap Faction
You can also get 1 x Azoth when you infuse the mining ore with Azoth Extraction. This is just another way to get more of the supplies and to farm Azoth. This will allow you to change your Faction every 3 times a year.
