Firstly, you can find them in the base game but if you haven’t been lucky enough so you better start looking for them in theFrost Islands.
Let’s begin with an adventure on Frost Island, particularly at night time. It’s because the Monksnail appears at night time. So once you have reached Forest Island, go to the subcamp in the northeast and then climb up onto the deck of the ruins that will be close to you. Then go to the cliff through wirebug and reach the deck. From the rail look around the sea to the east and see if you could find Monksnail. It will probably take 10 minutes for the Monksnail to show up. If they don’t show up then you have to try your luck any other time.
