Small Neopterons found primarily on land, featuring two developed horns and legs peppered with sharp thorns. Extremely territorial, Hornetaurs attack any who approach without mercy. When processed, the shells around their bodies boast impressive strength; in their current state, however, too much “umph” when attacking can easily obliterate them, rendering them useless. Collect those materials with care!
Hornetaur can be found in one of the Master Rank quests in Monster Hunter Rise. You can find Hornetaur roaming around in the Jungle or the Citadel. To obtain rewards like Hornetaur Head or Hornetaur Razorwing, you need to kill them in the Master Rank quests.
After completing the Assigned quests in the game’s fourth location you will reach the Rotten Vale. Once, you have reached the Rotten Vale, you will find the Hornetaurs in the third and fourth areas of the location. There are big bugs that will attack you as soon as you make your move toward them.
