Open the missile door to enter a new room where you will blow up the item sphere and get your new upgrade ( Power Beam). Finally, find your way back to Cataris.

How To Use Wide Beam

Press Y to fire Wide Beam.

While you are on your mission, you’ll face up to several challenges and multiple traps that are set for you:

  • Green-winged creatures
  • Robot turrets that look like tanks
  • Blocks with creepy icons on them
  • Buzz Saw traps
  • Large winged monster
  • On a bottom route, there is an explosive Mine
  • Darkened halls
  • Security traps
  • Yellow EMMI 04SB patrolling an area

To begin, you must aim for the Energy Recharge Station to replenish power. Locate the shuttle that will transport you to the Dairon zone. Once there, turn left to discover an entrance to a whole different facility, where you will encounter green-winged enemies and robot turrets that resemble tiny tanks.

Use your rockets to take down these robots. After avoiding enemies, utilize magnet rails to ascend, where you will find blocks with frightening symbols. You can’t seem to demolish the blocks, but don’t worry, move to the left and start firing underneath you to expose Beam Blocks, then blast them. Take a step into the center of the room. You’re one step closer to the Energy Recharge Station, but first, you’ll have to deal with some hostile creatures.

Cross the door and take a left to the save station, then proceed with caution to the huge facilities room due to probable hazard. You will battle a gigantic winged enemy from within a chamber by firing from all directions. You’ll now set your sights on a lower path, but don’t make the mistake of taking it since it contains an explosive Mine. It will explode if you fire it or go too close to it.

Exit via an open door from the huge room in front of you. This doorway led to gloomy corridors, unpowered stations, and flying monsters. Get to the top, discover the entrance on the left, there will be a locked door on the left, look down, and fire the ground to reveal Beam Blocks, which will make a hole for you to slide down, ultimately ending up in a doorway below.

Step on a device you see to light up the dark chamber. Return to the previously darkened chambers and use bullets or missiles to bust through the same sealed doors. Enter a room (Chozo Room upgrade), look for a statue with Wide Beam, claim it, and return to Cataris.
