GTA: The Trilogy Crashing Fix For PS5 and XSX: Doberman Bug and More

GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is full of bugs that can lead to the game crashing. Here’s a fix for the game crashing on PS5 and XSX.

How To Fix GTA: The Trilogy Crashing On PS5 and Xbox Series (Doberman Mission)

The solution to this problem is rather simple. This crash occurs when you attempt to play the Doberman mission in GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition on PS5. You will open the cutscene and end up facing a crash. This has been reported on the PS5 but it is possible that Xbox Series S and X might suffer from it too.

How To Fix Doberman Crash Bug In GTA San Andreas

  • Change clothes
  • Go to options-> graphics and highlight fidelity
  • Toggle the option of fidelity from quality to performance
  • Change the option back to quality and back to performance another time
  • Go change clothes again

If this doesn’t work, try to repeat the loop a couple of times in order to resolve the issue. Do this task until you can proceed ahead with the Doberman mission in GTA San Andreas.

This fix should theoretically work in other games as well, although it hasn’t been tested with other in-game crashes. You can try to toggle between the fidelity mode or the performance mode and if you have changed clothes, it somehow triggers some code in the game that goes ahead of the crash.
