Genshin Impact: Who Is Liben and What He Does?

GIStaffBy GIStaffApril 24, 2021Updated:April 24, 2021No Comments3 Mins Read

In Genshin Impact Liben returns for the third Marvelous Merchandise event. Players will be able to swap everyday items for valuable resources like Primogems, Hero’s Wits, Mora, and Enhancement Ores once again. After the excitement of its new Archon quest, Genshin Impact 1.4 appears to be quietly closing this version. The way the story progressed astounded the players. Many questions have been answered, but many more remain unanswered. New theories are coming from the fans on how the plot will go on. For the time being, Liben is here to bring the version to an end with a few extra Primogems.

Liben In Genshin Impact

Liben is a merchant from Liyue. On Genshin Impact 1.0, he made his first appearance.  Players discovered that Liben was a curious merchant there. Because of his involvement with Liyue Qixing, he appears to be a major merchant now. According to Liben, popular daily products in Liyue will soon become scarce. He’s stockpiling the product to profit handsomely. In return for rarer resources, players will be able to trade things like Sunsettia, Apple, and Sweet Flower. Later, Liben discovered that he had been deliberately misinformed.

Players will encounter Liben again in Genshin Impact 1.2. He explained to the Traveler that he worked at the wharf to pay off his debts. Liben intends to speed up the pace and return to trading now that he is debt-free and has some extra cash. This time, he intends to ship some everyday items to Sumeru, a rainforest and desert land.

Liben’s strategy for Genshin Impact 1.4 is still unknown, but it will undoubtedly be interesting.

How to Complete Marvelous Merchandise Event in Genshin Impact 1.4:

Marvelous Merchandise Event: Open Boxes o' Marvels and Get Primogems!

During the event, Travelers can look around Mondstadt for Liben the merchant. Give him the materials he requires to open Boxes o' Marvels, which contain Primogems and other rewards.#GenshinImpact pic.twitter.com/TfA8OncAvt

The average time period of Marvelous Merchandise events is seven days. It started on April 16th and it will end on April 23rd. Liben will be located in Mondstadt with a gift box icon over his head. Liben can be located easily as the same gift box icon will also appear on the players’ maps.

Players will be able to see what’s inside their regular Box O’ Marvels after speaking with Liben. If the contents of the box don’t appeal to the players, they can switch worlds and visit Liben for a chance at a different box. Players will have to exchange some materials that are normally easy to obtain from the map to claim Liben’s box. Players can get one gift box daily. Liben will offer you a “Mega Box” after you claim five boxes, which includes more prizes than the regular boxes.

Players will get a total of 300 Primogems as a reward from the Marvelous Merchandise event. Mora, Hero’s Wits, and Enhancement Ores are some other resources that players will get from the Marvelous Merchandise event.
