In Genshin Impact you must have come across Qingxin. Qingxin is a flower that you can use for the ascension of Xiao. Xiao isn’t available yet but it is going to change soon with the release of Ganyu. If you are experienced with Genshin Impact, it is possible that you already know the use of Qingxin. You can use Qingxin for the ascension of your characters. This item is necessary for the ascension of Xiao and Ganyu if you want to use either character in your party. In this guide, we will tell you where to find Qingxin, how to harvest it, and what items it’s currently used for in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact Qingxin Flower Farming
There are a few locations where you can farm Qingxin. There are 15 Qingxin near Qingce Village which is the most packed area. Other than that you will need a vertical traversal around the Huanguang Stone Forest, Qingyun Peak, and Jueyun Karst. Don’t worry if this area isn’t unlocked on your map yet, it will be unlocked eventually while playing the story. Qingce Village is the earliest location where you can collect Qingxin.
The flowers will respawn every two to three real-world days. So it’s better to hit both areas. That’s how you can maximize your farm and reduce the time you need to wait for them to respawn.
How To Use Qingxin
Right now the primary use of Qingxin is for the ascensions of characters. At this moment you can only use it for the ascension of Ganyu, but soon Xiao will join her. You can use Qingxin to cook Tianshu Meat which increases physical damage and critical rate.
You will need 168 Qingxin to take your character to Ascension 6, so it’s better to start farming early even if you don’t have Xiao or Ganyu yet, but you could pick one of them later down the road. You will need a total of 336 Qingxin for the ascension of both characters.
It’s also possible that Qingxin will be more useful once another region releases. That’s everything we know about it for now.
