In Fortnite, the Lantern Trials event has been started on May 10, 2021, and it will end on May 16 at 11 a.m E.T. Players will have to earn Badges to unlock three main rewards in this event. In this guide, we will tell you how to easily get the three main rewards and everything else you need to know about Lantern Trails Event in Fortnite.
Fortnite Lantern Trials Event Guide
Visit the official Fortnite Lantern Trials website by heading here to sign up for the Lantern Trials event. You will see a large yellow “log in” button when you get there. Press that, and when prompted to authorize the use of your Epic Games account press “log in” again.
After that, you will be taken to a page where you can choose between Epic Games, Playstation Network, Xbox Network, or Apple ID as your sign-in method. Although the other methods could work, it’s best to use Epic Game credentials to sign in. You will be greeted with a welcome message if you type those in. You should be able to participate in Lantern Trials as soon as you press “Let’s go.”
Badge Requirements and Rewards
The Lantern Trials event’s main premise is that by playing Battle Royale, you can earn free rewards. There are three rewards that you can earn at various Badge levels, as shown below:
- 1 Badge: Lantern Spray (earned by signing up).
- 6 Badges: Warrior Emoticon.
- 11 Badges: Lantern Glow Wrap.
One Badge is equal to 40 minutes of Fortnite action during the Lantern Trials. To earn all the rewards, players will have to play around seven and a half hours of Fortnite between May 10 and May 16 at the very least. Time spent in the Arena, LTMs, Team Rumble, or Creative will not count because Badge progress is only tracked in Solos, Duos, Trios, and Squads.
There is another way to make things easier if the Badge challenge seems too tough for you. Players will have to vote for any streamer who is competing in the Creator is the only way to do so. You can earn a free Badge by simply tapping the vote button next to any of the participating steamers daily.
Restrictions for Fortnite Lantern Trials
You won’t be able to participate in the event due to the following restrictions:
- According to Epic, only 1 million people will sign up for Lantern Trials. However, given the popularity of Fortnite, this number doesn’t seem to be a hard and fast rule.
- Residents of Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Jordan will only get this promotion. But one of the players was able to register in the U.S without any problem.
That’s everything you need to know about the Lantern Trials Event in Fortnite.
