According to Koei Tecmo, this issue has been confirmed to occur on PCs that are running the game at a higher frame rate on a high-spec display, this means that the display must support 144 Hz mode. If you own such a display, you might face the issue where the game is speeding up for all things including audio, video, and so on.

When playing on a 144Hz monitor, it has been confirmed that the game speeds up the video, audio, and subtitles during events become out of sync.
If you are experiencing this issue, as a temporary solution, please try to limit the FPS to 60 using the software function of your graphics board, or change the “Refresh Rate” in the “Advanced Display Settings” of your PC.
The developers have confirmed on Steam that they are working on a fix for this problem so stay tuned.
