This guide will help you induce changes in the settings of Everspace 2 for a better and more amazing experience.
Everspace 2 is a single-player space shooter game with a very unique quick-paced gameplay for the players. This is the second part of Everspace developed by Rockfish Games. The game is filled with deep exploration and a lot of RPG elements for the players. Overall, the game skillfully balances space-blasting fun with a rich, engaging story. It is an interesting game even on the default settings, but you can make it even more wondrous by changing some of the Settings IN the game.
List Of All The Changes In The Settings Of Everspace 2:
Here is a list of all the changes that players can opt for for a better experience.
Remap The Controls In The Settings Of Everspace 2:
As the game supports almost all of the essential inputs like a mouse, keyboard, gamepad, and flight stick, but if you’ve got a flight stick with you, oh boy you are in luck. Playing the game with a flight stick gives players a way better experience. We recommend you opt for a dual-stick setup as opposed to HOTAS. Flying an aircraft forward or backward can be difficult, So for that it would be a lot easy for the players.
You’ll probably change all the key bindings if you use the m+kb combination. Although the default keyboard controls are generally not horrible, every player has different needs.
Controller mapping is also very important in any game and finding the right controls is a bit difficult. Likewise in Everspace 2, the boost is set on L3 and rolled on R3, and it’s unbearable. If you change only these two inputs, you have to change almost everything. Players can make several modifications on the controller configuration page in the settings, but not all of them. You can set up button combo inputs, but you can’t combine a button and stick input. For instance, “hover up” cannot be set to LT + right stick up.
If you want to get rid of all these struggles, I would recommend you change your controller input settings to the inputs given below:
- Pitch axis – Right Stick Y
- Yaw axis – Right Stick X
- Roll left – Left Shoulder
- Roll right – Right Shoulder
- Thrust axis – Left Stick Y
- Strafe axis – Left Stick X
- Hover up – L3
- Hover down – R3
- Boost [HOLD] – Left Trigger
- Cruise drive [HOLD] – Left Trigger + A
- Supralight drive [HOLD] – Left Trigger + Y
- Fire primary weapon – Right Trigger
- Next primary weapon – DPad Left
- Fire secondary weapon – Y
- Next secondary weapon – DPad Right
- Use device – X
- Use consumables – B
- Use ULT – DPad Up
- Lock target – DPad Down
- Interact – A
- Fling objects – A
- Switch camera mode – DPad Down + X
Gameplay Options In The Settings Of Everspace 2:
Players can also change the FOV for both the 3rd and 1st person according to their needs, but here the default settings are fine because if you change the FOV and make the game look wide, you will most probably find it harder for yourself to aim at the given targets. The option which players need to change is the Gamepad Icon Style (change it to the controller you’re using) and show HUD In the cockpit. The Cockpit HUD should always be turned on until you feel confident flying and have a firm grasp of all the Cockpit readouts. Hiding the HUD will make the experience feel more mesmerizing.
Gamepad Settings In Everspace 2:
To make changes to your gameplay, turn up your auto-aiming strength to another extent. Players will love playing this game when they are successful in hitting their objectives. Increasing the strength will generally only make it easier for you to strike the targets you’re shooting at, though it can occasionally pose issues when you’re trying to target the cannons on a large cruiser. This will make the game a lot easier for the players.
You should turn off input smoothing as it helps you feel less reactive. This helps you get more control of the ship. The last setting which you need to turn off is ‘Automatic Rolling’. This setting gives such pain and will rotate your ship automatically to level it with the ground. But players don’t want their ship to wander around in space for no reason, So turning it off would be better.
These are all the changes you need to apply in Everspace 2 to make the game even more great and easy for yourself.
