Disgaea 6 Classes and How To Unlock All of Them

We have made a guide for you in which we will tell you how to unlock all generic and unique character classes in Disgaea 6. In this guide, we have separated the list of classes into Generic Classes and Unique Classes. 

The Side Quest Shop is unlocked after completing Human World-Throne Room (Episode 2, map 1), which is the initial step in unlocking any new character classes. 

Disgaea 6: How to Unlock All Classes

• Generic Classes:

There are 22 generic classes in Disgaea 6 that you can unlock.

1. Prinny: 

This class is unlocked from the start of the game.

1. Fighter:

This class is unlocked from the start of the game.

1. Martial Artist:

This class is unlocked from the start of the game.

1. Healer:

This class is unlocked from the start of the game.

1. Witch:

This class is unlocked from the start of the game.

1. Thief:

Create a Martial Artist to complete the “Steeling to Steal” quest (can do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked).

1. Archer:

Complete the “On the Hunt” quest by having both a Warrior and a Clergy with a 1 Star Rank (can do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked)

1. Gunner:

Complete the “Picking a Partner” quest by having both a Warrior and a Clergy with a 1 Star Rank (can do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked)

1. Ninja:

Complete the quest “Ninja Nite” by possessing a 1 Star Rank Thief AND a 2 Star Rank Martial Artist (can do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked)

1. Armor Knight:

Complete “Worthy of Guarding” Quest by having a 2 Star Rank Warrior AND 2 Star Rank Martial Artist (may do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked) (can do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked)

1. Samurai:

Have a 1 Star Rank Archer AND a 2 Star Rank Warrior to complete the “Loyal Blade” quest (can do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked)

1. Magic Knight:

Complete the “Magical Warrior” quest by having both a Warrior and a Witch with a 2 Star Rank (can do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked)

1. Psychic:

Having a 2 Star Rank Clergy AND a 2 Star Rank Witch is required to complete the “Psychic Squadron” quest (can do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked)

1. Mecha Girl:

Have a 2 Star Rank Gunner AND a 2 Star Rank Armor Knight to complete the “Robot Army” quest (can do as soon as Quest Shop unlocked)

1. Undead:

Give item to complete the “Hungry, Hungry Zombie” quest. Newt Charred (Quest unlocked in Episode 4)

1. Winged Warrior (Moth):

Complete the quest “No Ordinary Bug!” by destroying 5 Archer opponents (Quest unlocked in Episode 5)

1. Sea Angel:

Complete the “Living Conditions” quest by providing 1 single-use item with a rarity of at least rare. (Episode 6 unlocks quest)

1. Succubus:

Give 1 Emblem item to complete the “Seductive Demon” quest (Quest unlocked in Episode 7)

1. Evil Eye:

Give 1 Legendary rarity Glasses item to complete the “Evil Eye Elite” quest (Quest unlocked in Episode 8)

1. Dragon:

Give 1 Emblem item to complete the “Treasure & Dragons” quest (Quest unlocked in Episode 9)

1. Pincer Shell:

Give Premium Crab Brains to complete the quest “Pincer Shells United” (Quest unlocked in Episode 10)

1. Horseman:

Give a Legendary rarity Spear to complete the “Promised Spear” quest (Quest unlocked in Act 2 Episode 1, which is after Episode 10)

• Unique Classes (Main Story)

1. Zed (Zombie Class):

This class will be unlocked at the start of the story.

1. Misedor (King Class):

This class will be unlocked in Episode 2 (Human World) of the game.

1. Melodia (Princess Class):

This class will be unlocked in Episode 3 (Musical World) of the game.

1. Piyori (Prism Red Class)

This class will be unlocked in Episode 4 (TV World) of the game.

1. Majolene (Witch Class)

This class will be unlocked after completing the stage “Enchanted Gateway” in Episode 5 (Magic School) of the game.

1. Overlord Ivar (Overlord Class)

This class will be unlocked after completing the stage “Grand Staircase” in Act 2, Episode 1 (Overlord’s Keep) of the game.

1. Beiko (Zombie Class) 

This class will be unlocked after completing the stage “Miasmic Marsh II” in Act 2, Episode 4 (Zed’s World Again) in the game.

• Unique Classes (Post Game):

1. Laharl (Overlord Class):

This class will be unlocked in Postlude-Overlord’s Challenge- complete the new stages and pass the new bill that appears.

1. Flonne (Overlord’s Vassal Class):

This class will be unlocked in Postlude-Overlord’s Challenge- complete the new stages and pass the new bill that appears.

1. Etna (Fallen Angel Class):

This class will be unlocked in Postlude-Overlord’s Challenge- complete the new stages and pass the new bill that appears.
