GIStaffBy GIStaffDecember 13, 2020No Comments3 Mins Read

Crafting in Cyberpunk 2077 has a lot of uses and you can turn useless materials into useful clothes, consumables, or even quick hacks through crafting.

You have to learn a lot of things to do crafting and if you want to craft higher quality items and gear you will have to level up certain attributes and skills. In this guide, we will tell you how to get started with crafting in Cyberpunk 2077.

When Is Crafting Unlocked In Cyberpunk 2077?

As soon as you have an item’s ‘crafting spec’ or blueprint along with the components you need to craft the item, you can start crafting. When you want to craft the item, the crafting spec and the components should be in your inventory.

If you are looking forward to doing a lot of crafting and you want to make an endgame-level gear, including rare and legendary items, You will have to invest your attribute points into technical ability and your perk points into the crafting skill. You must increase your crafting skill and acquire related perks if you want to craft some good stuff, you can only do common crafting on a low level.

What To Do With Crafting In Cyberpunk 2077?

In Cyberpunk 2077 you can craft a lot of items, including clothing, mods, consumables, grenades, weapons, and quickhacks. There are two categories of crafting:

Crafting Gear:

In this category, almost everything is covered up except quickhacks. You will have to invest points in your technical ability and crafting skills to increase your proficiency.

Crafting Quickhacks:

This category covers the crafting of quickhacks. You will have to add points to your intelligence attribute and your Quickhacking skill to unlock the specs to craft quickhacks.

Crafting Materials

You can find the materials needed for crafting all around Night city and in each crafting spec, there will be a list of all the components that are required to craft an item. The low-grade components can be found easily by looting caches or fallen enemies but rare components can only be found during missions and other activities that give experience.

Standard components can also be gained by dismantling a weapon, but if you want Cyberpunk 2077 Quickhack components, You will have to complete the breach protocol minigame whenever it’s available. The drop chance of quickhack components can also be improved from Breach Protocol by acquiring the Datamine Mastermind Perk.

Where To Find Blueprints In Cyberpunk 2077?

The crafting specs show you that which components are required to craft an item and you can get these crafting specs in a variety of ways. They can be purchased from various shops and these will appear at random so you must check back often if you can’t find what you are looking for.

You can get other specs as awards for unlocking specific perks, as random drops and some can be obtained by looting enemies during various side jobs or missions.
