In this guide, we aim to help you decide whether to Banish or Ascend Prudence and Thomas or not in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, players are tasked with reuniting Antea and Red before guiding them through a series of intricate decisions that will shape their future. The journey continues with the Haunting Case of Benedict and Jacob, leading players to the settlement in the Dark Woods, where Thickskin is the leader. Shortly after arriving, players are presented with two critical tasks to complete.
In the game, there are two separate missions that players can complete in any order without any impact on the main storyline’s continuity. One mission involves the blacksmith, and the other is linked to the cook. The cook’s case, known as “Prudence In All Things,” requires the players to examine Prudence’s house and locate all the clues necessary to solve the problem. After gathering all the essential information, the players will have to decide the fate of Prudence and Thomas.
Banish Or Ascend Prudence And Thomas In Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden:
Prudence, a French spy, betrayed the colony by destroying their food supplies, causing the people to suffer. The colony was already in a bad state, and Prudence was sabotaging it. Now if you blame her, Red will take away her essence and kill her, affecting Antea’s resurrection and helping Red revive her later in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Blaming Prudence will also cause Thomas to run wildly, so you will have to defeat him.
Thomas loved Prudence and wanted to help her start a new life outside of New Eden. However, his ghost began to haunt her. Therefore, if you choose to Ascend Thomas, he will leave peacefully. This will count towards Antea’s Ascent. Since Thomas only thought of his wife’s welfare, it makes more sense to Ascend him.
On the other hand, banning Thomas will be a cruel process. As, Prudence won’t be happy with Red’s choice, and she will be visibly distraught. Banishing Thomas will also count towards Antea’s Ascent.
That’s all you need to know about prudence and Thomas in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
