You will have to add an ingredient in the preceding one to unlock the next node. But you don’t need to add the same color as the node to unlock the next node. If you put a green item in a red node, the next node will still unlock. But it won’t always work because some nodes require a certain number of elements.
Mostly, you will want to have higher-quality ingredients. At the start of the game, you will be able to harvest level one ingredients. A level one ingredient will only grant a single element per use. For example, if you have a node on a recipe’s page and you need three red elements to upgrade it to a small healing level. If you will have level one ingredients, you will have to use three of these. You can easily harvest a large number of items, but you will only get to use a certain amount of ingredients in one go because of each item’s synthesis unless you use gems to rebuild them. So if you have a level three red ingredient you will only need one to fill this up.
Improve Your Crafting Quality
If you want to get better quality items, you will have to increase your gathering quality in the skill tree, and you will also have to make sure that the gathering items are of higher quality. You can easily use the Skill tree of Atelier Ryza 2 to upgrade your gathering by hand and by staff. If you will put skill points into these nodes the quality and quantity of the gathered items will increase. For other tools, such as the ax, you will want to make the best quality items you can. This includes increasing the quality itself and you must sure that you use the ingredients that allow you to select gathering increases. The quality of each tool varies from one to three stars and you will able to gather better items depending on the quality of the tool. If you use better tools you can easily get higher rank items.
You can get these tools through recipe transformation. Many recipes can morph into others, which they will signal on the recipe page. If you want to morph one recipe into another one you will have to follow the nodes and you must have all the necessary ingredients. If you use recipe morph that recipe will be unlocked, so it will be easier to synthesize a higher-quality of that item when you make it next time. There are unlockable nodes in the Skill tree that let increase your quality to 999+ if you invest enough SP. An item’s quality level will be added with each ingredient you add. But if you add enough elemental ingredients certain nodes will also add more to your quality number.
You will get SP after crafting each item, so if you will get higher quality items you will get even more sp. For equipment, having higher quality levels will also impact its parameter. One of the most noticeable aspects of this has to do with traits. Each item can have up to three separate traits on it once. If you want to add a trait, you will have to add enough elemental ingredients to an elemental trait node.
Focus On Adding Proper Traits
You will be able to add three traits to an item, regardless of whether you added a trait slot to it or not. But the traits will be locked and you will have to do rebuilding to unlock the track slots. The trait you added to an item will vary depending on the ingredient you use. There are a variety of things that traits do like they can increase your stat parameter when used on equipped items, or have temporary effects on usable items during battle. If you are crafting gear or items, you must focus on adding traits that work with them.
