As January has arrived, so Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s players can now find a different kind of fish, bugs, and sea creatures around their islands.
Most of them will stick around for more than a month, you don’t have to rush to catch them. If you want to complete your museum you must donate any new finds to Blathers. Whenever you will catch a new creature you will get to know because your character will exclaim “yes!” before they say the fish or bug’s name.
If you want to know that you have donated any bug fish or not by checking your Critterpedia. There will be a little own next to the critter name if you have donated any.
There will be no new Critters in the New Hemisphere islands in January. We have mentioned below the list of Southern Hemisphere critters. Just to let you know that these critters were previously available and they are returning to your island again, so if you find any of the familiar you may have caught them before.
